Le spectacle jeune public en France

Aujourd’hui, en France, le spectacle pour le jeune public bénéficie d’un grand élan qui marque la vie culturelle des villes et des territoires. A travers tous les arts vivants (théâtre, danse, cirque, marionnettes, arts de la rue…), c’est un espace de création foisonnant et inventif qui répond à une vraie demande émanant des familles comme du monde scolaire.

Parce que nous pensons que les enfants et les adolescents sont des spectateurs à part entière, et qu’en tant que découvreurs, ils et elles méritent le meilleur, nous leur consacrons nos écritures dramatiques les plus fortes et nos spectacles les plus engagés.

Performing arts for young audiences in France

Today in France, theatre for young audiences benefits from a great impetus, which lets its mark in the cultural life of cities and territories. Through a multitude of performing arts disciplines (theatre, dance, circus, puppetry, street theatre) this prolific creative arena has fulfilled a genuine desire expressed by families and schools.

We believe that children and teenagers are a fully-fledged audience, and that they are full-time discoverers. As such, they deserve the best of what theatre can offer : that is why we dedicate to them our best plays and our most involved performances.

Playwrights, artists, producers and theatre institutions, all the members of Assitej France are working for this audience with professional creations that are full of fun, emotions, surprise, intimate feelings and new concepts.
